Why not make your dog’s life and your life even more wonderful? There is no need to live with any difficult or antisocial behaviour from your dog.  Everything can change for the better.

We can change the way our dog behaves by changing our own behaviour. As Cesar Milan says:  “I don’t train dogs, I train people.”

I love helping you understand your dog’s behaviour and needs, and showing you how to respond to your dog in order to help them develop as calm, content and cooperative friends.

Dogs need leaders. They look to us to be their leaders.

I help people to understand Dog, think Dog and act Dog, so they can be effective leaders of the pack. Dogs who live with a good human leader will be relaxed, happy and responsive.

The best time to start these conversations is before your get your dog, or as soon as your dog arrives, so that things get off to the right start. Often people don’t seek help until there is a problem.

It is never too late to radically improve behaviour.

Although remedial work takes commitment, results can be quick to see.

Sometimes my clients simply want to take their dog’s behaviour and their relationship to the next level. There is nearly always a way to make life even better for human and dog.

This work will help you make some key changes to the way you lead and respond to your dog. Shift both your and the dog's old habits and bring about a new clarity, peace and understanding between you both - a mutually enjoyable and strengthened relationship.

What we offer when working with you

I like to work with an individual owner and everyone else who lives with the dog. After an initial phone conversation to establish what you might need, I normally come to your home for a series of sessions of one hour or longer, to work with the dog and the human pack.

During the sessions I will listen to you describe the issues, and observe how the dog is responding to various situations. Then I will explain why the dog may be behaving in ways you don’t enjoy, and what the dog is looking for.  I will outline the changes in your behaviour that will help the dog to relax, understand what you want, and be able to get it right. Then we can work on the detail and how to put it all into practice in your daily lives.

Fees
Free initial phone conversation
£60 per 60-minute consultation (plus travel costs if I come to you)
I have a reduced fee of £50 for Concessions
Plus free telephone support between sessions
